Wendy's Chili

Ingredients:

2 lbs ground beef
1- 29 oz can tomato sauce
1 -29 oz can kidney beans
1 -29 oz can pinto beans
1 cup onions
1/2 cup diced green chili (2 chilies)
1/4 cup diced celery (1 stalk)
3 medium tomatoes, chopped
2 tsp cumin powder
3 Tbs chili powder
1 -1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp salt
2 cups water

Directions
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat; drain off the fat. Using a fork, crumble the cook beef into pea-sized pieces. In a large pot, combine the beef plus all the remaining ingredients, and bring to a simmer over low heat. Cook, stirring every 15 min, for 2 to 3 hours. When serving sprinkle cheese on top.

Makes about 12 servings.
